MACARENA BUSTAMANTE ÁLVAREZ

Macarena Bustamante-Álvarez is Full Professor in the Department of Prehistory and Archaeology at the University of Granada. A specialist in Roman Archaeology, her research focuses on the archaeology of production, with particular emphasis on artisanal and industrial contexts, Roman pottery, trade, and the economic history of the Roman world. She has authored and edited numerous scholarly publications on workshops, manufacturing processes, and artisans in Roman Hispania, with a particular focus on terra sigillata and material culture.
